Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in another country like Turkey? “If You Were Me and Lived In… Turkey” by Carole P. Roman is number four in her captivating children’s book series introducing children to other cultures. It is a wonderfully engaging book for children ages 4-7. Although it is non-fiction, it kept my children interested while I enjoyed the educational side all at the same time. Our family learned several exciting things while we read.
“If You Were Me and Lived In…Turkey” will introduce you to the world of Turkey and the reader will learn about some of the language, tourist attractions, and foods, as well as celebrated holidays. Not only is this children’s book beautifully written and illustrated, it is also engaging and informative. This book captures the imagination and makes the reader feel like they are really in Turkey, if only for just a short time in our imagination.
I recommend “If You Were Me and Lived In…Turkey” by Carole P. Roman as it will capture the attention of children as they travel to Turkey to learn about the culture. Why not come and see “how life in Turkey can be?”
